Grupo Security to propose dividend CH$10.5 per share at annual general meeting

At an extraordinary board meeting held today, the Board of Directors of Grupo Security agreed to propose a dividend of CH$10.5 per share at the annual general meeting scheduled for April 27. When added to the dividend already paid in November 2022, the total distribution for the year is CH$17.0 per share, or MCH$67,921.

Grupo Security CEO Fernando Salinas explained that "the proposed dividend is consistent with the dividend policy approved by the shareholders, and reflects the strong results of Grupo Security and its various subsidiaries during 2022, which reported net income of MCH$130,321, representing an increase of 44% over the previous year."

The annual general meeting and an extraordinary shareholders’ meetings will be held at the offices of Grupo Security. In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Market Commission (CMF), shareholders may choose to participate remotely. The Board also agreed to propose to shareholders at the annual general meeting a payment date of May 8 for the final dividend
