Juan Cristóbal Pavez has been a director of Grupo Security since 2002, Vida Security since 2008 and Banco Security since 2021.

Mr. Pavez is the CEO of Centinela, an investment company linked to his family and president of Instituto de Estudios de la Sociedad. In 1999, he co-founded Eventures, a technology incubator. Previously, he was an analyst at Moneda Asset Management and CEO of Santana. Before that he was vice chairman and interim CEO of Laboratorios Andrómaco.

Mr. Pavez has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
